The Wine Docent supplies a number of in person and digital services to help you with private wine events, event wine selections, development of restaurant wine menus, providing wine education and more. Wine has a rich history and can be as varied and unique as works of art. Let our Docent help you find the right wine(s) for your need. In person services are limited to the Greater Los Angeles area.
Personalized Wine Tastings
We'll work with you to craft a wine tasting personalized for your event and audience. Whether it is a wine selection inspired by a novel for your book club, a heritage tasting to celebrate that special someone or just a fun exploration of new wines with your friends, we can help you plan a fantastic experience. Our Docent will help you select the wines, plan the order of the tastings, introduce and serve the wines and handle questions from your guests.

Every event tells a story, as does wine. The Docent can help you find the right wines to pair with your event's story (and budget). In addition, we can provide excellent wine service for any singular moment in your event. Just share with us the vision for your event and we'll tailor a proposal to meet your needs.

Restraurant Wine Consultation
Every restaurant creates unique dishes for their customers' enjoyment. Wine can either enhance the flavors of those dishes or diminish them. Selecting the correct wines to pair with your food is a great way to boost both the satisfaction of your customers and your bottom line.
